Under a 1975 Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) the USA guaranteed all Israel's oil needs in the event of a crisis. This Memorandum of Understanding is quietly renewed every five years. It commits U.S. taxpayers to maintain a strategic U.S. reserve for Israel, equivalent to $3 billion in 2002 dollars. Special legislation was enacted to exempt Israel from restrictions on oil exports from the USA. Moreover, the U.S. government agreed to divert oil from the USA, even if this causes domestic shortages. The U.S. government also guaranteed delivery of oil in U.S. tankers if commercial shippers become unable or unwilling to carry oil from the USA to Israel.
Alan Greenspan: 1968 worked for Nixon as Coordinator on domestic policy on the nomination campaign. In 1974 Ford tapped him as Chair of Council of Economic Advisers. In 1987 Reagan nominated him to replace Volker as Chairman of the Federal Reserve Board. He's been exerting his influence for a long time.
Federal Reserve: Nixon appointed Arthur F. Barnes, a Jew. Ford kept him on. Carter appointed Paul Volker, a Jew. Reagan kept him on and then appointed Alan Greenspan, Jew. George William Miller ran the Federal Reserve for fourteen months for Carter, other than that a Jew has ran the Federal Reserve since 1970.
Secretary of the Treasury: Nixon appointed William E. Simon. Is he Jewish? It's a Jewish name and he appears to be Jewish but we've been unable to verify whether he is or not. Ford kept him on. Carter appointed Werner M. Blumenthal, a Jew. Reagan appointed several people, none of which appear to have been Jewish! Good for him. The first President Bush did not appoint a Jew. Clinton learned his lesson and appointed Robert Rubin, a Jew, and then Lawrence Summers, a Jew. President Bush had a couple of non-Jews until he got "smart" and appointed Henry Paulson, a Jew (although not a "religious" Jew. He claims to be Christian Scientist.)
