August 3, 2010, Omar Thornton was shown video surveillance footage of himself stealing beer from his employers, Hartford Distributors Inc.

Busted for the common thief that he was, Omar was fired

So what does Omar do?  Apologize to his employers, admit his crime like a decent person caught in a web of their own deceit?

No

Omar pulls out a previously concealed handgun and starts shooting

When he was finished, Omar had brutally murdered eight of his co-workers

Then in the ultimate act of self-pity, Omar calls 911 and blames it all on

RACISM

"You probably want to know the reason why I shot this place up," he said, his voice steady.

"This place is a racist place.  They're treating me bad over here.  And treat all other black employees bad over here, too"

"So I took it to my own hands and handled the problem"

"I wish I could have got more of the people"

The coward then shot himself

Good

Saved the taxpayers of Connecticut the wasted cost of putting him in prison for the rest of his life
