Do you sometimes feel just a little bit guilty for being proud of who you are?  Are you sick and tired of every White person being given the "racist" title.  Yes, some are bigots.  But only a small minority.  You are “fearfully and wonderfully made” but have you ever wondered just how deep your roots run?  Here’s the true story regarding Israel’s modern identity, verified by archeology and history, yet not usually told by most preachers.

"Here's a paradox, a paradox, a most ingenious paradox: and anthropological fact, many Christians may have much more Hebrew-Israelite blood in their veins than most of their Jewish neighbors."  --Alfred M. Lilienthal, Jewish Author of "What Price Israel?"

Modern theologians and ministers teach that under the New Covenant God no longer has a plan for physical Israel and that He is now working with only a spiritual Israel.

But what does God say? “Behold days are coming, says God, when I will effect a New Covenant with the House of Israel and with the House of Judah...#" (Hebrews 8:8)

The people described in this passage, with whom the New Covenant was and is being made, are clearly the physical descendants of the physical people whom Moses led out of Egypt.

Why? Because Israel cannot be spiritualized as illustrated by the Old Testament passage from which Hebrews 8:8-12 is quoted. The author of Hebrews quoted the Prophet Jeremiah, and Jeremiah continued with the following:

"Thus says God, who gives the sun for light by day, and the fixed order of the moon and the stars for light by day...If this fixed order departs from before Me...then the offspring of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before Me forever. Thus says God, If the heavens above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out below, then I will also cast off the offspring of Israel..." (Jeremiah 31:35-37)

Have the fixed order of the sun, moon and stars departed? Have the heavens been measured? Have the depths of the earth been searched out below? No, no, and no. Do you take God at his word? We certainly do! So it is quite apparent that God is still working with the physical descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. If not, then God has lied.

God provided Scriptural clues for identifying Israel of old. There is no debate that ancient Israel fulfilled most of these marks and was identified by them. But even more exciting is the fact that these very same features help us to identify Israel today! Listed below are many national, geographical and spiritual aspects out of hundreds of scriptural clues that positively identify Israel. Ask yourself, what modern day people are identified in scripture?

If Israel exists today, as she must, there is only one people whom all these identifying marks fit -- and they certainly do not represent the modern-day "Jews." They do however, describe perfectly the Anglo-Saxon, Celtic, Germanic, Scandinavian, and kindred peoples; the multitude of nations who became a great nation, with a new home, a new religion, and who have blessed the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ and numerous other blessings. In other words, Swedes, Norwegians, Germans, Danes, Europeans and their descendants.

Conclusion

Now you know why you are proud of your heritage. You have a right to it! It’s a long, sometimes rocky, but very noble heritage. And it comes from God.

The Prophet Isaiah spoke of a time in the future when "the eyes of those who see will not be blinded, and the ears of those who hear will listen, and the mind of the hasty will discern truth." (Isaiah 32:3-4) We pray that we've aided in the fulfillment of Isaiah's prophecy in regard to the true identity of Israel.

You now have the rest of the story, the true story concerning Israel's modern-day identity; it is up to you what you do with it. You can decide it’s racist and ignore the truths revealed to you. Yet nowhere does this truth teach superiority of one race over another. It simply identifies who Israel is. Our prayer is that you decide that Isaiah's prophecy will be fulfilled in you, and that you will do your part in awakening other Israelites to their identity, and to their responsibility to God as His people.
